There are many sites where a high quality APT is required inside another building structure. Examples include supermarkets and retail premises, historic buildings that need to be preserved but upgraded, hotel foyers and office and public buildings. To meet this demand, Exeloo has developed a panellised APT which has all electrical and plumbing equipment fitted and ready for use. The whole facility is wheeled into the premises on trolleys and is assembled in a day. Once the service connections are made and the floor has been sealed and tiled, the unit is ready for use. While maintaining a very high quality of finish, Exeloo can provide a wide range of facilities from low cost standard units through to the higher specification automated units. Fully automated Exeloo Eurokit units include an electrically operated sliding door and an in-wall stainless steel sensor operated basin unit. Each unit incorporates a wash down cycle using disinfectant, water sprays and drying fansafter a preset number of uses. Each unit has a wide range of voice messages and music and can be set to lock and unlock at preset times. The standard Exeloo Eurokit unit includes a manually operated sliding door with concealed door closer, magnetic lock, porcelain on steel interior linings, a quality stainless steel toilet pan, a quality surface mounted stainless steel security basin with timed flow tap, a surface mounted metal cased hot air hand dryer, a stainless steel mirror, a stainless steel manually operated jumbo roll toilet paper dispenser along with music and voice messages.

EUROKIT STRUCTURE

FLOOR The unit is designed to be installed on an existing concrete floor. After the interior base frame is sealed and fixed to the existing floor the interior area is screeded to the floor drains and tiled with slip resistant floor tiles. EXTERIOR WALL The Exeloo Eurokit unit is designed to be installed inside another structure so it does not include any external wall or roof structure. When designing the installation of a Eurokit unit provision must be made for a seperate exterior shell that provides a service area for the Eurokit unit and has all services provided in this service location. Floor drains also need to be prefitted to the existing floor. BASE FRAME The base frame is fabricated in stainless steel box frame that effectively forms a dam around the cubicle preventing any wash water going outside the cubicle. WALL FRAME A structural aluminium panel provides the structural support for each wall panel which is placed on the base frame. DOORS All doors are made with a rigid aluminium frame and stainless steel surface panels. INTERIOR WALLS Interior walls are lined with baked porcelain on steel panels providing a resilient long lasting surface that is resistant to all forms of vandalism and graffiti. CEILINGS A fibreglass ceiling provides a smooth stylish appearance. This is laminated onto solid panel which includes a structure to span between the walls. SIGNAGE Vandal resistant braille and tactile signs show the status of the unit, it's features and operating instructions. LIGHTING A large vandal resistant light box which includes a toughened glass lens and 2 x 36watt fluorescent lights is recessed into the ceiling providing a very high level of lighting to ensure user safety. CONCEALED OPERATING COMPONENTS All control devices, wiring and plumbing services are pre fitted to the exterior of the panels in the factory so they will be in the service area of the unit once assembled on site reducing clutter and ensuring they cannot be damaged. Once assembled on site some power and water connections need to be plugged together between the panels.

OPTIONS:

BABY CHANGE TABLE Proprietary baby change tables can be installed if required. SHARPS DISPOSAL A discrete stainless steel sharps disposal chute discharging to the service bay is available. SANITARY DISPOSAL Exeloo has developed a discrete stainless steel chute which allows the contents to be deposited into a concealed fire-retardant plastic bin for easy servicing. COIN OR CARD OPERATION Coin or card operation of automated units is available. REMOTE MONITORING CAPABILITY The unit can be fitted with a mobile telephone modem with a web output allowing the owner of the unit to view the settings, operational statistics and alarms on a live link to a secure web site. SMOKE DETECTION AND WATER SPRAYS If smoke is detected this option will activate a solenoid valve to spray water onto areas in the service bay that are vulnerable to attack by fire. It will also commmense a wash cycle in the public cubicle after a series of voice messages. While this system has proved effective in a number of locations it is not a certified fire sprinkler system. SEAT WASH UNIT The toilet seat retracts into a robust stainless steel cabinet after each use where it is washed and dried before being available for the next user if required. A key feature is that the seat remains in the cabinet and off the toilet pan until it is required. AIR CONDITIONING A shallow reverse cycle air conditioning unit can be located in the ceiling space providing heating or cooling and good air circulation in difficult weather conditions. INTERNAL SHELF 400 x 125mm A robust stainless steel shelf can be fitted if required to meet code requirements but the automatic wash down system is unable to remove discarded items from this shelf. HEARING IMPAIRED INDICATOR LIGHT A warning sign and flashing light can be included to warn people who have a hearing imparement in the unlikely event of a voice message being broadcast. TOUCH FREE SENSOR SWITCHES Exeloo has developed these large distinctive illuminated capacitive sensor switches that can provide the complete touch free pulic toilet experience eliminating the risk of bacteria transfer. UNDERFOOR HEATING LOW VOLTAGE Under floor heating can be provided for locations where below freezing temperatures can cause ice to form on wet surfaces. EMERGENCY LIGHTING Battery operated emergency lighting can be incorporated in the main light box to provide light in the cubicle in the event of a power outage.
